Private gardens with cottages amongst them, park like setting, quiet except birds, near ocean

From the cleanliness, kitchen/ equipment, wonderful shower, beautiful sunsets from the porch, to the lovely gardens.nothing negative to say. Our stay was smooth as silk. We had a great experience staying at this charming cottage. The private and picturesque surroundings made it a perfect gateway. The cottage was cozy, clean and well equipped. I highly recommend this place!

The park in the accommodation is a paradise. We felt very comfortable, it was very quiet and yet centrally located to get to the destinations quickly.

Het huisje was fijn maar vooral de enorme tuin was prachtig! Onze jonge zoon heeft met name genoten van alle dieren (kippen, konijnen, eenden) en van de gastvrijheid van het echtpaar. De communicatie verliep heel goed. De ligging was ook fijn, lekker rustig maar dichtbij de snelweg en snel in Ponta Delgada en leuk strandje in de buurt.

Bonita hat uns herzlich empfangen, gab uns gute Tipps fr Unternehmungen und Einkaufsmglichkeiten. Die Lage ist ideal, man ist schnell am Strand, in der Stadt und alles ist gut erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt auf dem traumhaftschnem Grundstck sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sauber und sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Die Betten gut. Wir knnen es sehr empfehlen. Yvonne und Andreas

We had a great extended stay at the quinta. Our hosts were attentive and always reachable and we enjoyed using all of the beautiful grounds to relax after days exploring.

Bonita and Ed were the perfect hosts and the property was everything and more than we had hoped for. The wifi was fast, the cottage really cosy and well equipped, easy parking, a stunning garden, BBQ setup and more!

Hosts Bonita and Eduino were very helpful and kind.

We stayed for over a month and loved it. Nice cottage with a beautiful garden, also very peaceful. The location is very convenient, there's a lot of things to visit in less than a 15 min ride.

We loved staying at your serene and beautiful place, the garden, the sculptures, this beautiful house . We enjoyed every minute of it. The island is a magical place and we have to come back to hike and explore more.

Ed and Bonita were the most gracious hosts, have a questions, ask them; have any problems they are quick to respond.

This is our second time here and the Quinta has gotten more beautiful. Our cottage#4 was cozy and had everything we needed. Listening to the birds, looking out at the beautiful scenery, what a way to relax! All we can say is Beautiful! Beautiful! We would definitely recommend this as a vacation retreat! Weve really enjoyed our third holiday here with you, Ed and Bonita and are thoroughly rested and recharged. The garden is, as always, perfect and I particularly enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere on the new garden swing chair. Chris has discovered (on our last day) that he would really like a hammock at home! As always we have enjoyed many walks and particularly enjoyed No1 from Pocos to Calhetas and back, to also enjoy a rewarding swim in the ocean pool there. But our favorite place on the island has to be Ribiera do Caldeeiros on the way (old road) to Nordeste, its breath taking beautiful with waterfalls, old mills and beautiful gardens. Also you must do the walk up behind the waterfall on the opposite side of the road and reward yourself with a cold drink and ice cream at the little cafe nearby-Superb! We found some great places to eat out including Paladares do Quinta in Lagoa, Casa Acoreana in Ponta Delgada and next door to this -O Alcides Restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with you both,and your delicious BBQ sardines and corn bread. Your hospitality is second to none and we are beginning to feel like old friends now. Thank you both so much for all you do to make this the perfect holiday for us, hope to see you again in the future. England
