Honeymoon Hideaway, charming cottage with a feeling of home

Journey down the old village road of Bretanha, rustic basalt lined road that leads to the gated entrance, where you will find the cottage and plenty of room to park your vehicle.
Honeymoom Hideaway cottage is surrounded by high bank  of greenery on one side and large plantano trees on the other and exposed to beautiful view of the ocean.  The cottage is equipped to handle long term stays in the winter season up to 3 months. 
The kitchen offers comfortable working space and a dining area. There is a beautiful wood stove in the kitchen. Firewood is extra cost.
The masterbed bedroom on the second floor, offers a large queen bed with closet and desk area.  In the living area there is one double bed and one single bed, and lounging area with a small library.  

There are two large bathrooms, one with large walkin shower and the second bathroom has a large soaking tub.

On the east side of the cottage,there is a covered lounging area. The covered terrace has a stolen view of the ocean.
Listen to birds and enjoy the gentle warmth of the midday sun while having lunch or reading a book with your coffee.
The cottage is equipped to handle long term stays in the winter season up to 3 months.
Ask us about the special rate. We will have to enter it into the system manually for you. Final cleaning will be 75 euros, can be paid cash at the door.

Cleaning and Disinfecting your vacation home!
We want you to know we at VHM Azores are doing our part to help our guests stay safe by continuing to do cleaning and disinfecting as we have in the past but also, more detail disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces before you check in (light switches, door knobs, cabinet and window handles, remotes, etc.)
To insure there are no transmitting of virus from previous guests, we will not be adding extra paper or disposable products during this time (tin foil, paper towels, plastic wrap, toilet paper, books etc.)

Smoking is not allowed inside the house.  For the respect to other nonsmoking guests, smoking is allowed outside only and the cigarette butts are to be put in the trash and not on the property grounds.

Activities to experience: To visit Sao Miguel, known as the Ilha Verde (Green island), is also to discover a natural world that seems to have been hidden for a reason or purpose. The close proximity of many attractions are accessible from this village, however, to observe and admire it, will prolong your stay indefinitely. Nurtured by nature and time, one will find the crater lakes of Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake) and Lagoa das Furnas (Furnas Lake). For any traveller, there are a variety of activities; hiking trails, whale watching, sailing, beaches with warm waters, natural and thermal pools that soak away any kind of blues.
